University Assessment of Residential Communities
As a part of the Department of Residence Life, there is a continuing commitment to the assessment of our residential communities in order to improve the experience for students in residence. There is something different about living on-campus, and that is not just convenience or cafeterias. We believe that because so much learning that takes place outside of the classroom, it is vital that the living experience encourage the academic success of students and provide opportunities for students to gain awarness, knowledge and skills in community responsibility, life-long learning, multicultural development, character development and personal well-being. Assessing our residential communities is an avenue to understanding the student experience, and to guide the continuous improvement of the on-campus experience.
